While with Interactive Brokers the trading instruments will be futures, with Darwinex, trading instruments will be CFDs, matching all of them one to one. For example, operations done with the Nasdaq mini-future (ticker MNQ) on IBKR, will be matched and syncronized with the Nasdaq CFD on Darwinex (ticker NDX).

Who can invest in IndexBot throw Darwinex? Any investor with a minimum recommanded capital of 5000 dollars can invest using IndexBot throw the Darwinex platform.
What's the cost for the investor? The only fee applied is a "performance fee". It means you will pay only when there are profits. It's calculated every month with IBKR realized profit report (unrealized profit will be zero because operations are fully closed before session ends) . From that amount, 20% is the performance fee. Water mark strategy will be applied in case of a month that has no profit. Let's explain this with an example. Imagine your account reaches at some point $40.000. (Watermark is set to $40.000) Suddently one month has a loss of $2.000. This month no fee is paid. After this loss there is $38.000 in the account. Next month there is a profit of $1.000. From this profit no fee is paid because it didn't pass the watermark. We are now at $39.000. Next month there is a profit of $2.000. From this profit, the fee will applied to $1.000 because that's the amount that made "grow" the watermark. Therefore the fee this last month would be $1.000 x 0.2 = $200. New watermark is set to
the new all-time high value of $41.000. Note that the performance fee is automatically managed and charged by Darwinex.

Interactuve Brokers is one of the biggest brokers in the world, available for more tha 200 countries.
If you decide to use IndexBot with IB, trading instruments will be futures from the the world's biggest market of futures - CME: Chicago Mercantile Exchange
How does the robot operate with IB? The robot connects to IB vía the sockets API. It means uses a TCP/IP port to communicate, allowing communication on the same computer, local network or over internet. It can make orders, read historical data and current prices of every instrument, read the portfolio and get orders confirmation, but can never make deposits or withdrawals.
What instruments are being traded by the robot? IndexBot currently trades indices futures and petrol futures. Here is the list of the trading instruments:
- MES: Micro e-mini Standard and Poor's 500
- MNQ: Micro e-mini Nasdaq 100 Index
- M2K: Micro e-mini Russel 2000 Index
- MYM: Micro e-mini Dow Jones Industrial Average Index
- DAX: DAX 40 Index. Deutsche Aktien Xchange 40
- N225: Nikkei 225 Mini
- MCL: Micro WTI Crude OIL
How much money I need to invest with this robot and IB broker?: As we just detailed, Indexbot trades the 7 futures listed above. The minimum quantity for each of them is one contract, and (on average) every contract has a margin requeriment of around 1500 dollars. The robot can often have them bought (or sold) simultaneously. Therefore, total margin requeriment can be often around 1500 x 7 = $10.500. This is the theoretical minimum amount you need, but using that is not recommended at all because there are chances to get a margin call on a dradown. Recommanded minimum is the double, thats around $20.000. If the investor has and want to invest more money, then the number of contracts used for every operation can be configured to be proportionally bigger
Should I transfer investment capital to the manager? No, manager will never have investor's money or his account login.
How does it work? Once the investor have started and logged into the IB trading platform (also called Trading Work Station or TWS), the MKR trading platform will be able to connect to the broker via API (after correct configuration). It can make buy/sell operations but cannot make transfers or withdrawalls, so there is no risk of stealing investors capital. Investor is always the owner of the funds, and can stop using the robot at anytime just disabling the api access from the settings section of the platform.
How should I proceed if i want to use the robot with IB, but i dont have Interactive Brokers account? If you want to use IndexBot robot, first thing you need is an account with Interactive Brokers from the link www.interactivebrokers.com. It will take some days to send all the documents needed, review from their part, creting the account and so. After account is created you must set the trading permissions for the futures trading markets of USA, Japan and Europe. After all is set up, you must download the TWS trading platform, login and learn how to used it.
I already have an IB account and TWS installed on my computer, what's next? Next step is to contact our manager via the contact form. Futher explanations will be sent via email. Basically, investor will download the bridge program that connects between the MKR trading platform and TWS of the investor. This program reads the operations from MKR Server and sends to TWS via API.
Sounds amazing, but what's the cost for "renting" the robot? There is not fixed cost. The only fee is the performance fee. It means you will pay only when there are profits. It's calculated every month with IBKR realized profit report (unrealized profit will be zero because operations are fully closed before session ends) . From that amount, 20% is the performance fee.
